After care speyed
It is now November 23rd.
Rosie had her operation to be speyed 5days ago.
She was ok after her operation no complications.
5days on she is having trouble defecating, she lets out a loud squeal.
Took her too the vet, who checked her anal glands were not inflamed also emptied her anal sacs.
She is still having pain, vet has prescribed a pain relief for her.
I am softening her food to make her stools softer to allow less tention on her stomach.
With a bitch the operation entails cutting into the belly, hence the tenderness.
Rosie sleeps all night with odd mishap of messing on training pad, due to her being to small to hold it all night.
During day she ventures towards the door to go outside.
Training her for potty outside has been a gradual process, she still is reluctant to go outdoors when weather is bad.
Coming into winter months this may hold her back a little.
She has been car sick a few trips now, so now take her 15mins short trips without food 2hrs before she travels.
This shall ease her sickness through time hopefully.
Walking on the lead, she now comes back, to my command, stay close.
I taught her touch my hand to bring her back to walk beside me.
Now all I need do is stand still and she turns automatically to stay close.
Eventually this shall lead to her not walking in front of me.
Now playtime is decided into short play interactive sessons with myself and her.
We play hide and seek her toys, she also loves tug of war.
She now has her adult teeth.
I managed to save 12 baby teeth, laying on the rugs.
This happened fairly quickly once I found the first one.
Within a month they all appeared to have been replaced with her adult teeth.
