Puppy is priority

Image
Rosie is knawing her night crate. It is a proper puppy crate the smallest on the market. Made of metal. The problem she has is her tiny teeth can grip between the thin bars at bottom of her crate. This may cause them to get stuck especially if she twists her head suddenly to tug as she often does when she is chewing. If she does this it is inevitable she shall damage her teeth. I have tried placing thicker blankets. Also a large dog bed with high sides. She only pushes these down with her body to reach the metal bars. I am using her crate to keep her in a puppy friendly environment away from fire. Where she can squeeze into the smallest holes. Where she can get stuck. She is growing fast ,I do hope her adult teeth push through her gums to become stronger. She gets ice and marrow bones to chew on. The ice helps her gums cool down enough to stop her. It is an ongoing process which has to be supervised just like babies in human form do. Containing her inside her crate only...
