Rosie, as puppy parents, we need to look into day care in more depth.

Of what to ask when you go to visit day care.
With lots of visits already underway
, we as parents feel Rosie is not ready to be placed at day care.
One to one supervision is what our puppy needs, as does most.
This is when having no family or friends effects how important a supportive family or friend would be.
In our case it is not a choice we have.
I can wait until Rosie is car trained to stay safely inside her bed.
Or hire a private one to one puppy sitter.
I have not found any of those around.
This makes me aware of how much skill I have in parenting a puppy.
Each day I work with her on another training goal.
Always covering the ones she already knows.
She has so much to learn, things in which we take for granted when our older dogs already learnt.
Example would be, how many times within your day does a puppy follow you.
I lost count after 35times.
This I shall work with her to cut her following me , gradually by asking her to go too her safe place, her crate.
For if I am working in the kitchen she could get hurt by hot cookers or water.
Her being so tiny, you do not hear her coming or going behind you.
I have already stood on her paws twice.
Luckily no breakage.
Our training shall aim at asking her to go into her crate on my command.
Answering a door os also dangerous if Rosie follows, for she could run out to find the gate is open.
A puppy is very vulnerable and relies on you to keep them safe.
As a puppy parent I made the decision not to have her experience the huge big empty kennel with no one around except dogs she can hear and doesn't know.
This is Rosie's Journey so far.
I shall be getting her
Toys where she can play on her own for distractions without myself always having to interact with her.
This shall give her confidence also independence from looking to have me around her most of her day.
Like I said a lot of training is required continuously.
It is fun and exhausting too.
